A Poem

I found an intresting poem on the net today, written by Kent Keith in 1968.

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

Imagination VS ghost

Do you ever believe in super-natural stuff such as ghost?? For me as a muslim, I

do believe in ghost, as one of the creature made by God. But as a natural human, i admit that i'm scared of them... I always hate watching movies or even drama about ghost.. (puntianak harum sundal malam laa.. saka laa.. kuntilanak... anak kerak..13 ghost.. the house and all that what so ever stories about ghost!!) it's no used having a big body when it's about ghost, i can be a chicken...hahaha!!

It’s until yesterday, when I was sleeping…I’m not sure what time is it… and i’m not sure weather it’s just my imagination or is it for real… Something woke me up and when I look at the door, there’s a shadow pushing my door wanted to come in… I can’t see his face since that is dark in my room… The first thing in my mind is “OMG! A thief is here to rob and murder me!!” With all my strength, I shouted at him! I get off my bed wanted to see who is it… The thing is, actually there’s no one there… I look all over the house from the kitchen to the toilet, but still there’s no one around… Then only I realize that it might be that nasty ghost teasing me…!

Damned! My heart beats so fast!! And all i know is i'm hiding under my blanket with sweat streaming all over my body! (Don't laugh! It's for real ok!)

Might it be the shadow ghost?? This is what I get from the internet:-

Appearance & Characteristics:
Shadow ghosts appear as a shadow of sorts. They look a bit like Ecto- mist but are dark gray to black in color. There are actually three separate types and we list them all in classes below. In photographs, it's easy to confuse them with natural shadows, so be careful with your analysis. They are usually extremely sneaky and evasive. When they are spotted it's usually out of the corner of your eye or as they are darting through a wall. They can also be spotted as a reflection in shinny objects and mirrors. As for photography, They are one of the rarest ghost types to be captured on film. Birds and cats are especially sensitive to them.

Type A - Appear as a small dark misty cloud and are almost always under two feet in length, but can hover or float up to 8 feet high.

Type B - Appear as a huge glob of thick cloudy mass. They typically range from 2 to 8 feet in height.

Type C - Appear in human form and some may be seen wearing a hat. They typically appear up to 8 feet in height. (i think this was the one i see...)

Locations spotted:Most often spotted in homes. Have also been seen outdoors at a distance.

Speculations:
I guess the general consensus would be that they are ghosts in one of their forms. Some would say that they are demonic spirits or creatures, but that doesn't seem to be the case, at least in most cases.

I read the ayat kursi over & over again... And it really help me back to sleep... Alhamdulillah...

Career Fair @ UiTM

19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd February 2008

I went to a career fair managed by UiTM. My team were also there to participate in this event together with the other company such as Redland, Petronas, KFC, AZRB, CIMB, Apex, Bank Rakyat & many more...
We were there to promote Spike program especially for fresh graduates and unemployed individu. Bad, Shamsul, Amirul & i drive a brand new Nissan Sentra rented by SEV. And it's damned so comfortable driving that luxury car!! Hehe... (One day i'm sure to get one for myself! eawahh..)

There were so many students and many kind of people who came from all over the country to get prepare for employment after graduate. And for me, they should really get prepare from now and hopefully the won't turn up to be like me, where i almost get fed-up looking for jobs after my graduation since that it's hard to get one these days...
However with these type of programme, students were lucky experiencing the early working environtment for them, which mostly companies especially in private sector, they will find the candidates who already have the experienced. Thats why many of the graduates were unemployed..

But still there is some who are not interested with useless reason saying that they need a break, a honeymoon after graduation! That is so lame... Then why did they come here to the career fair?? I was thinking that the reason is just to hang arounds with friends & collecting stuffs, gifts from the booths. Hurmm...and from what i see, they are all malays... So sad to see my own race having these type of attitude! Its up to them lah..
Overall, our team made up a good effort finding numbers for the registration form. Including the previous career fair at UKM.

Wah.. i'm so tired.. ^_^
